The lack of speed is why the Lake Travis WRs are not being recruited by big time schools. Cayleb Jones at Austin High has more offers than all the LT WRs combined and he’s a junior. Ryan Swope is WR for the Aggies and he was 5th in the 5A 100 as junior, LAKE TRAVIS don’t have anyone near that fast!!! Lake Travis uses height deep and over the middle and runs a shifty guy underneath.

I saw him play at the state 7 on 7 in College Station this year. He made MVP of the tournament. Very impressive!! Catches everything, excellent routes and knows how to get behind the defense. He is one tough player. Very physical against the defense. 4 td’s against DeSoto (who has some of the best players in Texas). Not bad. Tulsa should be very happy with Conner Floyd.

I have watched this kid for years. You can see the outstanding talent in the video. He is EXTREMELY under-rated on the national scene. He is one of the best I have seen at using his body to create space to catch the ball. He is a warrior…the more chips that are on the table, the better he plays..excellent downfield blocker and unselfish player…he has played a MAJOR role in the last two state championships at Lake Travis..he is going to make a D-1 Program VERY happy.
