real estate can be farms, or office buildings, or ranches, or homes. It can be rental management, or leases, or sales. It can be apprising each of these things or dozens of more things.
To be successful you will need to specialize. Some agents only sell single family homes in one small area of Houston.
Whatever you want to specialize in then get a job doing that. If you don’t like it then don’t be afraid to change.
