Question about 3DWI offense in Williamson County, Texas?
March 6th, 2010 | by admin |I understand the regulated punishments for a 3rd DWI offense in Texas so i don’t need that information but I was wondering what other "options" there are.
Someone close to me got pulled over this past weekend for speeding (81 in a 60) and the cop then realized he was drinking and he refused to do the blood alcohol level so they took him to jail. He is going to try to knock it down to a DUI since they don’t know how intoxicated he was. Yes, this is his 3rd one but he hasn’t had one since 1996-7.
Is jail time a for sure thing or can he do other things.
Thank you!
well that is what I was hoping since it has been so long. He has also had a job and gone to school since then and stayed out of all trouble. He knows his license is suspended and AA along with probation, and that interlock thing is apart of it. He is pretty sure his going to jail. It is me that doesn’t want him there. I guess I am wondering if he goes how long could he be in?
He has the 15,000 to pay for the bail. If he pays all the fines does that mean he paid off his "would-be" time in jail?
I am helping him. I didn’t know him when he had his 1st two. those were when he was 17 and 20… now he is 30
Wait i get back in a minute………Okay . Since his last was so long along and the county is so small . I think they could negotiate and he could get probation. My friend lives in a smaller town . She blew 2.1 . All she got was probation.
GOD BLESS
He can get a occupational licences. The judge can decide . Just pray he’s in a good mood that day.
Maybe 2 to 3 month matters on the how much probation.

Stop drinking and go to jail. Hopefully for a long time. And the time between them doesn’t matter. It’s obvious he doesn’t give a dam about other drivers on the road and should be removed from the society. His refusal cost him his DL and he was told that at the time.
I really do hope some bad things happen to him and he has the book thrown at him.

lets see, big fine for going 21 mph over the limit, big, big, big fine for the dui and court costs and probation costs. and 3rd offense. kiss him goodbye and pray he has the cash to pay those thousands of dollars in fines and costs he is going to get slapped with. time to grow up.
